Well, this certainly has been a most busy week. My uncle went into the hospital on Monday because he had a TIA (which is medical speak for a mini-stroke). He got out Thursday, and everything seems to be okay pending some blood work coming back to find out the exact cause of the stroke. So, I spent some time at the hospital this week visiting and keeping company because we all know how boring it can be sitting in a hospital room.
On top of this and college, I started my job at Cabela's this week. It's been very boring. I started Tuesday with an all day training session, and some more on Thursday night, and then more all day yesterday. It's a long-drawn out training process they have. It'll be another week before I'll be on the floor by myself. I work a lot this week too, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday all day.
Last night I got a chance to check out some Jefferson football. Mike was the starting quarterback for the first time in his varsity career (and he's a junior). He ended up running two touchdowns and passing for one touchdown. Very good game, they beat Huron 40-20.
Today I'll get my first chance at hitting the marsh and hunting geese this year. I'm typing this quick blog to update then getting the tote and going. It's a rainy, cloudy day here, so it should be a good evening to get some flocks in the air.
Nothing too interesting to post about, just a busy, busy week. It was nice to sleep in so long this morning and not feel rushed to do anything. After being so bored the entire month of August, now things are really picking up and it's kinda crazy. Keeps me hopping and keeps life interesting though.
Okay, time to go!!! I'll post how I did later.
