Well, I officially survived day one at EMU. It wasn't a bad day, but it was long. My communications class that I have right after lunch is pretty cool, the professor is good. But my accounting class that I have last is probably going to be my toughest if the professor continues on like he did today. He's a mix of Mr. Dewey from "Saved By The Bell" and Donald Trump. He went through some stuff in like 5 minutes then assigned the homework on it. But, he doesn't grade homework on right/wrong answers, just that we showed work and did it. That's cool, but I'll need to make sure I know how to do it on the exams.
I left campus and Ypsilanti was covered in black clouds. The skies were going up open up and pour anytime. I should've taken a picture to post on here. Well, it did. But, thankfully it was after I got to my car. All in all, not that bad of a day, and I have the confidence I'll survive this semester. Tomorrow though, I'm sleeping in! Next week will be busy. I will have class Monday, start Cabelas Tuesday, class Wednesday, and I'm guessing Cabelas the rest of the week. Makes me even more tired thinking about it!
We're going to see Steven Curtis Chapman and Michael W. Smith tomorrow at DTE Music Theater. Something to look forward to!!
